There is a transaction for everything in SKyWriter.  And the transaction menu is a smart menu, allowing you to do only what is applicable for the individual you are performing a transaction for.  For example, you can’t make Staff Payments to a non staff person.

Issues credits, debits, transfer funds, open a check for the day (reconciled during End Of Day), do refunds and take payments.

Flexible transactions are a must with the variety of ways DZs do business today.  SKyWriter’s “Standard Transactions” give you the ultimate in flexibility.  Create standard transactions used all the time then simply select the standard transaction to apply.  You can also set up standard transactions to be “flexible”, allowing an override to the amount charged or credited at time of transaction.

Every transaction is logged in the ledger of the individual.  You can view the detail of any transaction in the system with a simple double click either from the ledger or from the DZ Summary detail.  SKyWriter tracks the transaction, all specific information about the transaction, and any system and user entered notes specific to the transaction.  SKyWriter also tracks the originator of the transaction and who last performed an edit on the transaction, giving you a perfect historical record for review anytime.
